This update makes vehicles easier to distinguish and separates New Jersey map layers from published timetables.
Web — 0.2.1
- Compact trains: PATH, LIRR and Metro-North now use round markers with short operator labels. Hover or tap to see the full branch, direction and next stop above the marker. Tap to keep the popup open; tap again, outside it, or press Escape to close it.
- Clearer ferries: NYC Ferry and NY Waterway use rounded markers with a ship icon, route identifier and white rim. Their shapes stay consistent as vessels change direction.
- Independent New Jersey controls: a switch in the New Jersey header hides or restores the selected regional layers. Opening timetables and changing their transport tab no longer turns map layers on. Route and stop selections are preserved.
- A cleaner blog: release and story cards have a solid color strip clipped to their rounded corners, with simple text navigation and read links.
Train positions remain estimates. NJ Transit bus and commuter-rail live feeds remain disabled while provider approval is pending. HBLR published schedules and NY Waterway remain available.
